Summer Bucket List: Downtown Aquarium

The same week we went to Pirates Cove; we jetted back to Denver to go to the Aquarium. We have been before, but not since it changed ownership and not since Hallie was less than a year old. My parents took us- thankfully because there is no way we could afford that place!! (I hate that fun kid things are so expensive and make it so that young families have a hard time being able to afford to go.) We had a good time. The most exciting part for my girls were the mermaids- Hallie was in awe. We had a good time...but for the cost it was just ok. It wasn't even an all day thing to do...we were done in less then 3 hrs. Of course I have a bazillion pictures to share of our time there though!!

The pics to the right are of a flash flood- so Colby is showing us how high the water came!

Everyone had to try out the foot massager...

Hallie gets a quick turn before time runs out..

Sadie thought this was big time fun!! And we got all 3 a turn w/one quarter!

Lots of fun!!!! Bottom pic on the left is a seahorse.

Lots more fun!!!

Pics on the right are the mermaid show...Hallie had smiles and looks of awe on her face the whole time!

Colby played a fair type game and won the biggest prize possible..and the girls got their faces painted...and before we headed home we grabbed some DQ!!!
