Summer Bucket List: The Donut Mill

One of the things I really wanted to do this summer was make our way up to Woodland Park and go to the Donut Mill. I have heard how wonderful their donuts are from many people. We intended to go towards the beginning of the summer, but because of the Waldo Canyon Fire it deterred our plans. We finally decided to take a Sunday morning last week and head up there. It is always a nice drive up into the mountains, so it was fun just driving there and back.

Once we got there we could tell it was the happening place to be because it was pretty busy. When we finally got in the door we could see the wonderful BIG donuts they had to offer. The kids were so excited. We ended up buying a half dozen because it was the same price as buying 5, and Jeff was happy to eat the extra donut.

Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying their donuts!

She had to have sprinkles. (dont ask about the headband)
I had to encourage her to eat more then the frosting off the top.

He was really excited about his donut!
YUM!

Trying to find a lady like way to eat it.
There isn't one! (It's as big as her face!!)

Mine was so yummy!!! Especially when you add a big cup of coffee!!!!

Jeff enjoyed his as well!!

The boys!

Here they are with their tummy's all full of sugar!!! Don't even ask about the drive home!!!

And just because there are never pictures of me..here is one to prove I was there!!! Taken in the donut parking lot!

All in all we had a fun time and I highly recommend checking it out- it was a fun adventure!!!
