Party time!!!

On Saturday Sadie had her birthday party with her friends from her Pre-K class!! She decided to have a princess tea party. Since everyone was 5 and under we were able to keep it low key but just enough fun for everyone. Sadie was so happy to have her friends come over, especially her "boy" friend. They have had quite the little friendship this year. Upon writing his thank you note after her party, she insisted I write, I love you at the end. He was the only one she wanted to tell that to. It's pretty cute and they get away with talking that way about each other because they are only 5!! It's a good thing they are both going to be homeschooled after pre-k!!!

Here are some pictures from her party, enjoy!

With her cupcakes that Miss Jen made her!!!
Sadie with the pin the jewel on the crown game.

Making bead bracelets.

Sadie checking out how Mr. K is doing on his keychain!

Miss E working hard.

Drinking her "tea" (they had juice)

Singing to the birthday girl!

All her guests enjoying the food!

Her brother helped her put on her crown headband.

What fun! Did I ever tell you that when I was 5, I "married" my boyfriend. His sister who was a couple of years older than us was the minister. We would sit in the same chair in his family room. When we heard someone coming one of us would jump up and move to a different chair...sure no one had seen us sitting together. He once kissed me in church and tried to hide it by holding the bulletin in front of us. The only thing was we were sitting on the front pew. So many fun memories. We broke up in 1st or 2nd grade...can't remember for sure which since the two grades were in the same classroom.
