YUMMY Cheesy Mac & Cheese!!
My kids love this Mac & Cheese; and I love it cause its SOOOOOO easy!!! We serve it as a main dish, along with veggies & bread. I hope you like it as much as we do!
1 lb. macaroni noodles
1 cup milk
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
4 oz. cream cheese (cubed)
1 stick of butter
Melt butter in a sauce pan on low heat, add milk & cream cheese and stir frequently until cream cheese is mostly melted.
Cook & drain Macaroni.
In a 9 x 13 pan add half the cooked macaroni, then half the milk mixture and half cheese- kind of stir it all around then add the rest of the macaroni, milk mixture and cheese- and stir that together. Let it sit for a few to thicken up and melt the cheese. We add salt for some extra flavor. (usually each person adds their own)
I told you it was easy!! It makes a lot, so we usually have it for lunch the next day too! Enjoy!
