Come tour our Homeschool...

Here is our newly redecorated Homeschool room!
This is the "kitchen table" we will be doing our school work at- hopefully it will be nice and cozy!

I moved our bulletin board and wipe off board into the school room.
This is my resource shelf & our game shelf...its a bit of a mess right now but it will be cleaned up soon! ;-)
This is our Little People stash...as well as a corner of mess...so just don't look at that!

I moved the kids computer into the family room to make room for the new table in the school room! We don't let the kids do too much on the computer yet, mostly just a drawing program. Our book/puzzle/block area- we have a set of encyclopedia's on there as well- I LOVE my shelves..my dad made them for us!

Our home living/pretend play area- provides hours of entertainment for my girls!
The girls toys & more books! We just recently made their bedroom upstairs a toy free zone...I got really tired of telling them what toys needed to stay upstairs &/or downstairs.
Here is a view of our family room as a whole (and I just want to show off how clean the floor looks, not that I would ever take a picture and show you the mess but just imagine toys ALL over that whole empty floor space!)...and my sweet kitty rolling around on the floor!Hope you enjoyed the tour...this is where we will be spending LOTS of time this next school year!

Makeover- homeschool room edition!!

OK, so this year I will be homeschooling 2 kids instead of just 1. So...I wanted to move things around to make room for 2 kids trying to do work. I kept getting images in my head of elbows knocking and children yelling and screaming that he/she touched me or moved my paper. Needless to say I knew something needed to change. All I had was our old computer desk to use for C and as you can see its pretty small. So I was so happy when I found this old Kitchen table at a yard sale for $10...it needed a scrub down and a tightening of some bolts but is perfect for what we need! And I am hoping someone on Craigslist will be emailing to come pick up the old desk for about the same I paid for the table. The table is a bit big for where we had the desk so I am moving it into our school room and moved the kids computer to where the desk was. Anyways- when I get everything put away and moved I will update with new pictures!
