Camping 2016

A couple weeks ago we were fortunate enough to get a smokin' deal on a pop-up camper. We have wanted one for years and years. We finally found one that is big enough for our family and affordable! We decided to take it out for a test "camp" this past week. We had a great time but seemed to forget everything. We were happy we took it for a short spin before doing anything for a longer period of time. We went up to Meuller State Park where we always go to see the fall colors. Its a nice camp ground, not too far away and they have bathrooms and showers close by. The first evening it was cooler out and we had a small hail storm, then during the night it rained quite a bit. The second day the weather was beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the playground, my little guy loved the playground. If we weren't at the playground, he was asking to be at the playground. We had fun hanging out at the campsite, hiking, playing and spending time together. Both nights the big kids and us played cards. We had so much fun. The favorite game of the trip was spoons. Lots of laughing was going on. It was so nice to be in a camper for this trip, we had lots of room to spread out and were able to eat inside for all our meals and had a great place to hang out together. I took tons of pictures as usual, so enjoy!!

Our first campfire..which was a little disappointing because Mommy & Daddy had some miscommunication about who brought the marshmallows and chocolate for the S'mores.

Getting some help with the messy S'more from bubba.

Pretend playing by himself.

Oh how I want him to stay small forever!!

Silliness with my bigs.

Turning into a teenager more each day.
