BEAUTIFUL Colorado Day!

What a gorgeous day it was today...we are finally getting some nice weather around these parts! We tried to make the most of our beautiful day...we started our garden..FINALLY! This year we were able to get some raised beds in for part of our garden. We went to Lowes and bought some tomato plants and pepper plants...Mr. C is so proud of the Mr. Stripey heirloom tomato plant he picked out!! I am still waiting for some seeds to get here that I ordered a while back from Seeds of Change. It was a good deal, so they said they are a bit back logged from all the orders. We also enjoyed a nice walk after dinner around the neighborhood. We enjoy being nosey checking out our neighbors yards and gardens and trying to get ideas for our own. Mr. C yacked nonstop the whole walk…and if he didn’t have anything to say he was humming. My quiet little girls just walked and enjoyed themselves! When we got home, the kids enjoyed running around like little maniacs having races, riding bikes and playing make believe! It was so sad when we made them come in the house to take baths and get clean since we have church tomorrow. After church we will be back outside though…so looking forward to that!
