My husband and I used to always take a date night and go to the Boradmoor Hotel during Christmas time and walk around enjoying the beautiful light displays. Its just so pretty, it always reminds me of going to Disneyland at Christmas time. Then a few years ago we decided we needed to make it something we did as a family because our kids would LOVE to enjoy it too. Now we have a tradition of going to dinner at a local pizza restaurant (that in and of itself is very fun), then going and enjoying the lights and seeing the gingerbread display they have made. We follow it up with ridiculously expensive hot chocolate from the hotels coffee shop. It is so.much.fun! We all have a blast. Here are some pictures of last years adventure. Hopefully this Christmas we will be able to do the same, I'm sure our pictures will include some face masks though.
