We had a very fun summer right after Zachary was born. Since it was the first time in a long time we didn't have a foster child, we wanted to take advantage of not needing to ask permission to leave the state or take a trip. We planned a trip to Taos, New Mexico and then another trip to Estes Park here in Colorado. Jeff's brother Patrick and his family also came out to visit and meet baby Zachary, so we enjoyed family time with them as well. Other than taking a newborn on car trips when he hates riding in the car, we had a great summer!!
